Hidden Valley Opens New ZipTour Attraction

Hidden Valley Expands to Four-Season Operations with New
$2.5M Zipline Project

Wildwood, MO. - June 18, 2019 - Hidden Valley, announced today that its new ZipTour ziplines are
officially open to the public who want to experience the St. Louis skyline in a whole new way. The $2.5M
project, which began back in June of 2017, represents a significant investment in offering four-season
outdoor recreation opportunities to the Greater St. Louis Area.

The ZipTour opened to the public on Friday, May 31, 2019, and offers four spans of ziplining fun
throughout the tour, that includes two rides up the Gateway Chairlift, and amazing views of the St. Louis
skyline and its famous Gateway Arch. With four spans ranging from 300 ft. to 2,800 ft. the ZipTour winds
its way across the Hidden Valley resort, visiting both East Mountain and West Mountain, and offers
thrills and adventure for the whole family.

“I’m extremely pleased with how this project came out in the end. It was such a great feeling to see the
smiles on the faces of our first guests, as they experienced the ziplines for themselves,” said Greg
Gavrilets, Vice President and General Manager of Hidden Valley. “While it wasn’t without its hurdles, I’m
incredibly proud of our team here at Hidden Valley and Peak Resorts, who were able to make this vision
a reality.”

This family-friendly activity is open to ages 10-and-up, and will be offered year-round, with summer
operation six days a week, weekend operations in the spring and fall, and weekend operations, weather
permitting, in the winter months. Private and group tours will also be offered, making this the perfect
outing for anyone from local boy scout troops, church groups, employee team building adventures, or
groups of friends. Tours run from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and take about 2.5 hours to complete.
“It’s always a great feeling to see a project like this go from inception to opening, and we couldn’t be
happier with how it all turned out,” said Jason Boyd of Peak Resorts, Hidden Valley’s parent company.
“I’d like to thank everyone for all the hard work that went into this project, from design, to permitting,
and construction, we couldn’t have done any of it without everyone’s drive and dedication.”
ZipTours are currently offered at the full summer schedule of six days a week, with an official grand
opening celebration to be held on June 29 th , with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Members of the media are
invited to experience the ZipTour and the scenic lift ride on Friday June 28th during a special media
